Chapter 4’s review on The Fat Loss Bible centers around nutrition. In chapter 4, Anthony Colpo discusses the value of the meals that you do eat. This myth is based on the time of day that you eat. A famous talk show host mentions she doesn’t eat after 7 or 8 o’clock at night. Many diet books tell you that you shouldn’t eat late in night, or you should make your largest meals early in the day. In looking at the time of day that you eat, and the size of meals that you eat, “The Fat Loss Bible” breaks some myths with research and data. Once again, specific cases are stated, not random tossed out “this is a fact, believe me” stuff. He backs up each thing that he says.

He looks at a study of people with Type 2 Diabetes. This holds interest to me, because I fall in that group of people. One of my concerns is a jump in my numbers before bed time. It looks at three groups, all eating differently and shows us the outcome. Ghrelin (hormone) is discussed also. Looking at eating patterns, we discover that we may be doing things backwards, based on information we read. What he’s saying makes sense, and it’s not some “unbelievable, unreachable” explanation. A plan is slowly forming, and I’m starting to understand the sensibility here. Looks like I may turn my patterns around!
