Chapter 5 of The Fat Loss Bible, goes on to discuss the difference between eating at different times of the day, and what does and doesn’t happen. In this review, you’ll see Anthony Colpo is in the process of breaking some of the myths we’ve been told about losing fat and weight, based on books, and things the media has been shoving down our throats. Let’s face it, when one book sells well, everyone jumps on the bandwagon and suddenly a trend of fad has started. It’s the cut this out, cut that out, eat exactly this time of day and more.
I’m tired of the junk I’m being fed, so I’m happy to read about these myths being broken. He backs up his information with research, actual studies and other facts. I like what I’m reading so far, and I’m about to finish reading chapter 5 of The Fat Loss Bible, so I can continue reviewing it.
Here’s what the rest of Chapter 5 has to offer…
Carbohydrates are the focus of chapter 5, and I’m good and ready to read this chapter. I’ve done low fat, low carb, high protein, low calorie, high calories, good carb, bad carb stuff and I want to know once and for all what’s it all about Alfie? He goes on to discuss tryptophan, serotonin, tyrosine and blood levels, and how some of these things affect our brain and body. He discusses performance, short-term memory and similar findings. There’s an interesting study he discusses that Harvard researchers did too.
He looks at the GI (glycemic index) of foods, and this is something important when understanding carbs. Learning about Diabetes myself, I had to understand the Glycemic Index better myself! Okay, I like how chapter 5 ends. I’m stopping reading for today, I’ll be back tomorrow with another chapter review of The Fat Loss Bible.
